Last weekend in go ol' Nebraska

It's hard to believe that this is my last weekend here in good ol' Nebraska. My car is on it's way to California. With this awesome modern technology I was able to check on-line to see where it is. This morning it was in Walcott WY. So if you're on the road and you should happen to see one of these big trucks with a bunch a cars on it, you may just see mine. It's a blue Beetle, with the license plates reading "TROLLS". How cool is that!

My stomach has been in knots for weeks. Reality is getting closer and closer each day. The thought of me not being able to just meet up with one of my kids, Mother, Brother or Friend makes me sad. I know I'll just have to catch up with them all when I come back for visits.

I'll try to post along the way.

The idea of Ute being all the way in California makes us sad, too. We will have to find excuses for you to come back and visit. You are sure to have lots of new adventures to blog about, though. Good luck.

Praying for a safe and happy move for you Ute!
My Mom was able to move with us when we moved to CO but we had to leave siblings, nieces, nephews, Michael's Mom and family, along with many friends so I somewhat know what you are going through and I am sending huge hugs your way!!!

Welcome to California. It gets some getting used to but you will find little desert trolls hiding in the southern foothills. I live in northern california and the weather is wonderful. Of course summer is a big time for me to procrastinate and do nothing, but once the rain starts, my creativity gets going.

We met at both Gals and Dolls and also at the cloth doll convention in Ohio. If you are up in Northern california, I can show you all the great fabric shops. hint hint

Enjoy, Laurie

Best wishes on your move, Ute! You should be there by now! Now I know those trolls can live anywhere. Just ask The Mushroom Keeper! hugs, Sue McF.
