Sometimes play isn't creating a doll, but rather playing outside, getting your hands dirty. Letting loose and just play. This week I made a concrete planter. I had seen some last year at our local Farmers Market. Last weekend while at the Farmers Market my memory got jogged. So I bought a bag of quick setting concrete and had at it.
I made two of them actually. Gave one to my neighbor and will probably have to make a couple more. The rest of the week was spent planting, weeding, moving plants, tilling up the dirt. And playing with my dog.
Oh' I even stopped and smelled the lilacs! ;-)
