The head that almost wasn't

Today I worked on several troll heads. I wanted to make something a little different for my puppet. Made this head and almost threw it out. There were too many interuptions and initially I didn't like the look. So tonight I went back in the studio to add more wrinkles, three moles, some ears and voila. I love this little fellow and only he/she knows what he/she wants to be. Play often!

Ute,

I love your trolls, but I honestly think this is one of the best heads I've seen you do. He has so much character! He looks like his name should be Mo or Arthur or something. He probably wears a belt and braces (suspenders as you say in the US). love him.

Don't you just want to give him a big hug? It always pays to take a step away when something isn't working. This guy is definitely a keeper. I think he looks like a "Homer."

Oh goodness he's adorable! I am simply fascinated with your needle sculpting! I tried a bit on my first doll and things ended a bit disastrously... Oh, I love your work!

Can't wait to see what he turns into.

He looks like I feel most of the time! I can't wait to see this when you get it finished! Did you get pictures of the chicken puppet from the class? My Blog friend Tami took your class and I just love how her troll looks! I am in the Melisa's ebay group- MRSBO- please stop by my blog if you ever have time.

Have to say this is my favorite head. Is there a pattern to follow?
